Rocky Mountain National Park during winter is amazing place. When you mixed it up with outdoor loving couple who embrace the nature’s beauty, it is truly a magic. Karen & Jason loves outdoor and they are having a summer wedding this year on top of the mountain. They suggested to having a winter engagement session at Rocky Mountain National Park. It was just awesome!
We started off at the water fall which has been frozen over and just a part is showing. They went up near the top without any hesitation and I am taking their photo on top of the ice. Joyce was so awesome taking a light over the ice and knee deep snow to having this picture taken.

It looks a lot like a spring clothes here, but it was cold & windy. I praise Karen & Jason that they took the jackets off while taking this picture over the boulder.

And we have passed by the field and it must be around 20F with gust of winds around 20 mph, but the winter scene was just magnificent with snow-capped mountains.

Next a few photos are taken moriane park meadows. One is inside of aspen trees and the other of weathered dead tree. The weather was pretty cloudy so we added extra lights to add drama to the photos.

Final photo is taken at the Sprague Lake path with infrared camera.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful & magical engagement session, Karen & Jason. And looking forward to photograph your wedding in the summer.
